Happy New Year

Well here we go again maybe this will be the year I can keep up on this thing. I have been inspired by several of my cousins blogs and a couple friends. Thanks Alan, Tracy and Heather.

Where to start? Well, 2009 was an fun year for our family it was a year that was full of waiting for our big December trip to Costa Rica to visit Shantell's dad. We did alot of traveling this year.
We were able to go to Yellowstone this year as a family. Remind me next time that we need more then four days to see the entire park. It was a good time but we rushed through alot, maybe next time we will take more time. We also spent alot of time camping with friends in 2009. We hope to do more of that in 2010.
I did alot of traveling for work last year. From Aug 7, to the end of the year I put 20000 + miles on my truck. I visited Shreveport Louisiana, Santa Rosa New Mexico, Minot North Dakota, Pasadena California, Millidgeville Georgia, and many other places this year.
Shantell continues to work for the Sweetwater County Sheriffs Department as the Work Crew Supervisor, She really loves her job. JaCoy is growing up so fast, He is in the 10th grade and is studying hard he wants to be a chemist when he grows up. He is researching colleges and trying to decide to stay close as mom would like or explore the world as dad suggest. Joci is still swimming every night. She is a member of the Green River Otters USA swim team here in Green River. She is our little fishy. She had a very successful school swim season. She swam several events but was chosen to swim the 200 freestyle this year which was new for her. She did great. Jay is busy being Jay, Playing with friends and his brother and sister. He cant wait for fall to get here so he can play football again.
All and all we are doing great. Hopefully 2010 will be as great of a year.
